Worldwide compliance         Â...
Most large companies have an expert that is charged with the policies, management, and compliance of hazardous material. That well-trained industry expert is the Administrator for his company’s Failsafe Breeze database and he will be responsible for setting up all of the hazardous materials that his company ships or carries. As a Failsafe Administrator, he will be able to lock down his company’s inventory of hazmat in to Failsafe Software system. He can log hazardous material by their shipping identification number, name or brand name, barcode, etc. Also he can enter the various packing materials his company carries in inventory. Last, he will set up User accounts for all of the shipping supervisors, stock clerks, truck drivers and ramp agents that are currently required to reference and interpret the multiple regulations that are governed by Federal and International regulations.
Each of the four regulatory bodies is translated to common database information. Each of the databases checks the variables of the hazardous material that needs to be shipped and evaluates it against the logic built against the regulatory data. Since the regulations are associated with database entries and not hard coded logic, regulatory changes are easy to implement in a timely, cost effective manner.
